Our Return Policy

We want you to love every piece you receive from solunay. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 14 days of the delivery date
  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • All original tags still attached
  • In original packaging (where possible)
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)

⚠️ Items that show signs of wear, have been altered, washed, or are missing their original tags will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged, for hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Underwear, lingerie, and swimwear (unless faulty)
  • Pierced jewellery and hair accessories
  • Items marked as Final Sale or purchased during a clearance event
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Items that have been personalised or custom-made to order

If you received a defective or incorrect item, these exclusions do not apply. Please contact us immediately and we will resolve it as a priority.

How to Initiate a Return

Returning an item is simple. Follow these four steps:

Please do not send items back without prior authorisation. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • Change of mind returns: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Defective or incorrect items: solunay will cover the full return shipping cost
  • Exchanges: we cover the shipping cost for sending the replacement item to you

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method. solunay is not responsible for items lost in transit during the return process.

Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Credit/debit card: refund appears within 5–10 business days depending on your bank
  • PayPal: refund appears within 3–5 business days
  • Store credit: available immediately upon approval

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank or payment provider before contacting us.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for a different size or colour, subject to stock availability. To request an exchange, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will guide you through the process.

If the item you'd like to exchange for is out of stock, we will offer you a full refund or store credit instead.

For size-related exchanges, we recommend checking our Size Guide carefully before placing a new order to ensure the best fit.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the defect or incorrect item

We will arrange a free return, replacement, or full refund — whichever you prefer. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of being placed, provided they have not yet been dispatched. To cancel, please contact us immediately with your order number.

Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may return it after delivery in accordance with this policy.

⚠️ We process orders quickly — if you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation once fulfilment has begun.
